Wenlin Tan: Artist, Illustrator, Well-being Coach and Creative Cycle Guide
Wenlin Tan is a multi-disciplinary artist, mindfulness coach and movement educator who passion lies in empowering others to cultivate awareness & self-growth through immersive mindful movement and creative journeys. Her work traverses different mediums such as movement, performance, Augmented Reality, video art, painting and photography.
Most recently, Wenlin was the featured movement educator and co-artist behind Stop, Look, A-Go-Go! (SilverArts 2021 Project commissioned by National Arts Council Singapore) along with artists and art educators Moses Sia and Lee Sze-Chin. Her workshops and art installations have also been featured at Singapore Art Week 2020 and 2019.
Wenlin’s Twin Cinema Twitter Poetry bot has been featured at Emerging Writers Festival Melbourne 2020 and her art book, The Droplet has been featured locally at Singapore Art Book Fair 2018, and abroad at Dublin Art Book Fair 2018 and Scotland Book Week 2018.
As a movement and mindfulness educator, Wenlin was a featured speaker at the Qigong Global Summit 2023 where she talked about the Power of the Creative Cycle: Five Elements for Women’s Well-being. She is trained in various modalities including Aqua Yoga, Qigong, and contemporary dance and has performed at KL Performing arts Centre and led movement and mindfulness workshops across Asia and Europe. Wenlin is from Singapore and based in Turin, Italy.
